A particularly nice and scarce officer’s post 1892 Cameronians Scottish Rifles Shako. Made of fine dark green Melton cloth. To the base and welt of the body is an ornate black lace band with a thistle design and to the front of the shako is a flat patent leather peak surmounted by dark green plaited cords suspended from a blackened metal thistle device.
A very fine and scarce 1871 pattern Fife and Forfar light horse helmet. A silver gilt metal helmet with silvered edging and fittings including the plume-socket and crosspiece base. With a laurel wreath above the front peak divided by a scroll with the regimental motto
A very fine example of a honourable artillery company officers visor cap, with a dark blue melton cloth crown with red piping to the welt. Black patent stiffened peak with gold bullion banding, red over dark blue over red band, with a nice Kings Crown Royal Artillery cap badge
A superb and very rare, early example. Dark blue melton cloth crown and scarlet piping to the welt. Red, white and blue diced cap band, edged above and below with the same scarlet piping as the welt. The peak is edged with officers gold braid and supports a correct narrow black patent leather chinstrap, secured by two flat gilt KOSB regimental buttons. To the front of the cap is a superbly detailed officer white metal cap badge.
This Loyal North Lancashire Blue Cloth Helmet, is of dark blue Melton cloth complete with white metal cross piece, spike and rose bosses supporting a black velvet backed chin chain. To the front is a white metal, loyal north Lancashire volunteer battalion officer’s helmet plate

A white metal skull with silvered edging and fittings including the plume socket and cross piece base and the frontal laurel banding. Above the banding is the silver helmet plate of an eight pointed faceted silver star mounted with a central motif
An unidentified Rifle Regiment Officers Quilted Shako. A scarce example of a rifle green cloth over a cork body and top. To the front there is a darkened metal Queen Victoria cypher shako plate, above a patent leather peak and headband. To the top is a dark green ball tuft in darkened socket.

An extremely fine example of a Royal Scots Fusiliers full dress bearskin. With frontal volunteer battalion officer’s silver gilt fused grenade with royal arms, surmounted by a Kings crown. A fine 6.5″ cut feather plume to the right hand side. Brass graduated chin chain complete with black leather lining.
